Hiring doesn't stick to a strict timetable. I would follow up and ask them when you might expect the decision.

That's really normal. It's not one person making the decision it's typically two or three. It's a matter of getting on everyone's calendars so that they can have the final discussion and agree to move forward.
I do think that's a bit weird. Maybe reply with "Great, thanks! Could you let me know by when I can expect the offer? Something like that
Yeah, this is what I tell them all the time! But its been 2 months since the interview! And they never write these things on the email, call me and talk over phone!
