Has anyone gotten into a school after fumbling on their "why X school" question? Rest of the interview went well (I think) but mind went blank for that question.

How do you talk about your failures when asked in an interview? I don't want to seem like I'm BS-ing my answer but I also don't want to sabotage my chances.

Hi everyone! I’ve been in the middle of interviews but there are some processes I’ve stopped particularly because I noticed that there were barely any women at the firm or when I asked questions about how they handle cases of sexual harassment I wasn’t a huge fan of the answers. I’m trying to be especially careful before I make a switch! Do any of you have insights on whether the work environment for women is inclusive at Kearney? I haven’t met a woman in my interviews yet.

Got my first RRK interview for the Big Data and Analytics Cloud Consultant role at Google. Any tips on what best to prepare for? Just straight up tech questions on Big Data, past experience, or Hypothetical/System Design questions?

How long does it typically take to hear back from a big tech company post final interview loop? The hiring manager expressed explicit Interest in hiring me but I felt that the broader teams response was more mixed.

We just had a new associate start today. They are still on their old biglaw firm’s website. As someone who was previously let go (and has had friends let go), I know what this means. PSA to people who were laid off/fired, remember to let your old firm know when you’re starting at your new firm so it isn’t so obvious that you were let go. I don’t judge people for being let go, but many people are not as friendly/kind.

Can anyone recommend an app or software for tracking billable hours to make it easier to put together and submit timesheets? I work for a small firm and all of our billing/invoicing is done manually. Every couple of weeks I go through my notes to type up my timesheets and I’m wondering if there’s an app that can record my time as I work and then put that all together categorized by client to submit for invoicing. I don’t need to note how much a particular client pays per hour.

3: Grade: Principal Consultant (Grade 42, band 3)
4: Profile: Banking and finance BA
5: EOY is 10.5 years
Currently I serve as a Lead BA in one of the Fintech product company with a fixed CTC of 20.5 LPA and my current organization has agreed to give me a CTC of 26 LPA if I stay back. But only thing which I would be losing out here in my current organization is the 10% variable component and the EY brand
