First off, I commend you for working those hard hours. Secondly, your child is 5 years old. They won’t understand much of anything at 5 years old. At that age, they take so much for granted; having a roof over their heads, food in their tummies, a bed to sleep in is what’s supposed to happen. To them it happens almost magically. They won’t see the sacrifice that you make until they are much older. As long as you’re doing the very best you can by yourself and your children, that’s what matters. Keep your chin up and keep fighting the good fight because I promise you that someone sees it, even if it’s not your child, right now.
I don’t have personal experience with this but I am a parent and know that it can be hard to balance work, your own health, and parenting. My best advice is to be present with her when you are with her as much as possible and talk to her about your work in an age appropriate way.
I feel this with my whole heart 💕
