Definitely FET. My first transfer was fresh and wasn’t successful… did FET moving forward, and have had a successful birth and am currently pregnant with my second. I just look at it as giving me the best chance of success.

I am doing FET with PGT. The risk of damaging an embryo is small, and I wanted to give myself and a future baby the best chance of a healthy pregnancy. There are no guarantees, but at least with PGT I can improve my odds.
Good luck! That is a tough decision. If PGT will give you peace of mind then it could be worth it. It does decrease the risk of miscarriage but nothing is a silver bullet.
I have had 2 failed tested embryos - I don’t regret the testing but I do wish I had managed my expectations better (my doctor told me, but I didn’t hear it and thought they would all work)
Here with you D1. My first round had two aneupeloid (sp?) embryos, and somehow that was the hardest part to hear. But I would not have wanted to go through two miscarriages to find out the same information, especially since I live in a state where abortion is outlawed, so doctors are very leery about treating women who are miscarrying until they are basically septic.
At age 35, def recommend pgt!
Also, if you’re going to a good clinic, the chance of harming the embryo during testing is extremely minimal. If I’m remembering correctly, I think my Dr said at mid 30s the expectation is 60% of embryos tested are normal.
We went with FET. My clinic strongly recommends PGT, and our first transfer of a PGT-tested embryo worked.
Do the PGT, we didn’t do it and we are now wondering if the embryo transfer failed due to bad chromosomes.
I had a successful fresh cycle which resulted in a miscarriage I am 37 and my doctor still doesn’t suggest I do PGTA testing bc it only tests few of hundreds of cells
I completely agree Associate 1.
I am 35, just did retrieval and the testing. I wanted to know how healthy and what gender embryos I had. I am happy with the results so I don’t feel the need to do another retrieval. I know what the odds are of it being successful.
