After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

In this economy, I think you're going to get ghosted most of the time anyway. So you might as well shoot her the stars, lol.
Depends on how competitive it is and the type of role. I was hired early on for lower-level roles where I did not check every box. That was a while ago, and I always tried to make up for the lack of skill in one area by showing how I excelled in another.
Even when you are 100% qualified, there’s a high likelihood of rejection. It’s not you, it’s the market.
The craziest thing that happened to me was I applied to a bank for a job I was completely qualified for. Got rejected, then I got reached out to by another team for something that I was like objectively unqualified. They found my resume in their job portal and I guess I matched the keywords the were looking for.
So I just tell people when I come to blind applying. Just go for it. A lot of times the hiring manager or hr ask for someone that they can’t find, or maybe they can but they’re not working for whatever salary they’re offering.
Especially in this job market, you can match all the qualifications and still get immediately rejected anyway.
I have been doing this for six months and can't get one single interview. I think that works in some industries but not in this one.
Yes
Cold applying without doing it through your network is a low odds activity.
Doesn’t mean it can’t work, but understand it’s low odds.
In this market, you need to be fully qualified for roles you apply for y mess you know someone there. It is too competitive out there.
That's reasonable advice in a good job market in ordinary times, but that's not the situation we find ourselves in. People who are being laid off are out there looking for jobs and they've got plenty of qualifications, so the job search couldn't be more competitive. Having said that, you might as well apply if you think you have some chance of getting an interview.
