I received an offer for a C11 position at Citi with a CTC of 23 lakhs, but I feel this is on the lower side given my 7.2 years of experience. Would it be appropriate to approach HR to discuss the possibility of increasing the salary ? or adjusting the compensation structure to help improve my in-hand pay?
Could you please provide some advice on how to effectively convince HR to consider a higher package? Also, in your experience, how open are they to salary negotiations for this level?
NP is 90.

Keep in mind Citi is in firing mode. And it's last come first out.

I left citi

How many days you have left to join?
Yeah, Its lower side of C10 actually.
C11 can have 26 to 32max.
If you get offer, you can have at least 28(4xYOE), can consider 4.5 also.

Firing? It’s on your luck, i would say. ve’been fired from BNY. Depends on project mostly, I see a lot of hiring.

Hi, do you mind sharing the duration between your interview and the actual offer roll out? As in how long did the process take from the interviews, until you got the offer?

Also, didn't the HR ask your expected CTC and then negotiate it before rolling out the offer?

Thanks for the information.

I guess if your expected CTC is reasonable and comparable with your current CTC, and if the difference between your current CTC and the offer is not much, you could always try negotiating for a better offer.
