I received an offer from Accenture with a joining date on October 15th. I have already submitted my documents on Workday and confirmed accommodation. At the same time, I am expecting a joining from Infosys later in the same month, which I prefer due to a better package, though the date is not yet confirmed. My concern is: if I finish Accenture’s formalities but skip joining on Day 1, will this affect my Infosys joining in any way? Do companies cross-check such details?

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. Has anyone found a way for the NRC and Workout app to run simultaneously (pun intended)?

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?
