Loved it! It’s way better than indeed in my opinion. I found more candidates and had an easier time contacting them.

On the contacting bit - I totally agree! Especially since you can actually see their contact information quickly which on indeed takes like 2-3 clicks to get to a phone number and they mask the email addresses. Emails sent through zip come right back as emailed replies to my inbox rather than indeed whole messaging platform.

I do! Most of the time it's great for putting together an applicant pool quickly. I really like the invite to apply feature and cost per job slot is way better than sponsoring each role would be on indeed. We swap out our jobs all the time so the price per slot is really worth it for us.

For context we pay ~ $1,700 per month for 20 job slots and 100 invitations, can do up to three users but we're only using two. Average tend to have about 35-45 reqs going at a time.

Interesting, thanks for your feedback. Hiring now is a Duzi. I’m in London and it’s next to impossible to find decent talent at a sustainable rate, you guys struggling in the US too?

Indeed sponsoring keeps getting progressively more expensive - set a daily max run for $25 and got (8) applies within 3 hrs but the actual spend was $62.

Hello! How did you get started with excel as an HR professional? What are some good resources for me to develop my excel skills (courses, certifications, etc)? People often say YouTube but as a hands on learner I’d like something more interactive that will test me.

During the pandemic we started incorporating SparkHire for one way video interviews and now my hiring managers are super attached to it. It was intended to cut down on rounds of interviews - one SparkHire + 1 in person meeting. But now I'm seeing a lot of candidates drop off and not follow through on the spark hire. Is there any argument to hold onto one way video interviews anymore or should I drop it?

Career site development looking into Attrax, recently acquired by smart recruiters which we just implemented.

Any thoughts on formal career site vs. out of the box career page that's kind of basic?

SmartRecruit transition went through last year, the career site out of the box is super basic and we're not seeing direct applies come through

Does anyone have any insight as to how I could learn Workday and other payroll systems? My company is on UKG Ready and I would like to boost my resume and try to learn the ins and outs of other HRIS before applying to other jobs.

Our company of 110 EEs has separate providers for payroll and HRIS, not happy with either products. I’m gathering data to make a pitch to move everything into an all-in-one HRIS + payroll.

Does it make any difference to make the change effective the first week of 2023 payroll, or to make a change in payroll providers mid year? I’m thinking it’s best to start fresh at the beginning of the year and not worry about two payroll companies for reporting. What are other things to consider?
