I recently got dismissed as an Operations Manager since it just wasn't working out (surprising my team and I...). I did Organic Chemistry in my Honours year, and moved on to Polymers and Material Science in my PhD. However, I worked in Manufacturing and CAD/CAM work. So now my education and experience don't compliment each other.
I have been applying for jobs for the past 2 months with no success. Can anyone help since I am struggling to find work or seem like a good job candidate?

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?

It is elementary that the development of a theory is based on completed and finished works or theories with a sufficient basis to be possible. But what were guys like Plato based on? He could only rely on what his mind told him. It must have been very difficult but at the same time, they were very brave in defending their ideas.

Hey all, having issues with interviewing this year. I’ve been passed over every opportunity I really want and I’m unsure how to regroup and move forward. A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?
