Is there a legal way for an international student in the US to earn money on the side?

Does anyone know whether MGM properties in Las Vegas charge resort fees if one pays for their stay with points + cash via the Hyatt portal? I know there are no fees if I pay with only points, but was curious to know if I would get 'nickeled and dimed' once cash is involved.

This may sound super optimistic, but the bottom in US market is close by for short term. Still trend is downwards as per my weekly and daily system.

I am able to find many undervalued stocks here too. India has always been my favorite market though and I am super bullish on manufacturing sector companies.

Hey folks - I am looking into purchasing a 2-family home in HCOL area. One unit is being rented and the other would be owner occupied (me). After rent from tenants, mortgage would be around ~$4,200. HHI is around ~$235,000. Home price is $845,000 @ 5% down. Does this sound reasonable? Need advice if this is a good investment or I should fade away.

I recently was let go (in lieu of accepting my two weeks) and I should have received my March expense check by the end of April per the employment agreement (submitted the report April 1, let go before mid April). I have emailed HR but haven't heard anything. I've got a feeling someone at the top is putting a hold on it.

We are trying to decide on our first house: there are $650k options that usually need 80’s carpets & lighting replaced and wallpaper removed etc. Then there are $700k homes that have already been totally redone & would need nothing. Anyone have opinions/experiences? Almost everything else is equal between the options. When we move in we will have a month or two before our second child is born so need to consider that. We could handle the $700k but $50k is 50k. In Maryland

Curios to know if the RE bowl think there will be a crash in RE prices since it was at a peak for the past couple years, a lot of realtors are saying no it won't but a fisherman won't say his fish is stink so I don't put much weight on their opinion. When someone reads my paper and says "wow, you really did your homework," it doesn't make me feel good at all—it makes me feel like a failure for not being able to write something original on my own!

This might be too ambiguous to answer, but I want to get better at taking iniative, but I don't know how. I can be pretty shy in work settings. I do things without being told, but I want to go beyond that like start projects etc. Provide more value.
