I recently have experienced workplace discrimination Based on my Veteran status. I was told that if This particular manager would’ve interviewed me he would’ve never hired me due to my military obligations. It so hard to find a work place that doesn’t give me crap for serving my country. They have my year schedule a year in advance and still they give me so many problems.

I want to get out of ID so badly. I don’t mind the work but the hours are just killing me. I just started at a new firm less than 6 months ago and I am already desperate to get out. It is not the firm or the people. I just hate the high billables. I have been applying to other jobs but I think I may need a recruiter for help. Any recommendation for a great recruiter in NYC?

Had a lateral interview back in January. Looked at the firm’s website and the posting was taken down. I had emailed two weeks ago, and they were still moving through the process. What do I make of it?

Design lead i interviewed with told my recruiter that they loved the interview and thought id be a great fit, but hesitant that id be “bored” in the role. Whats this mean? Should i tell the recruiters i gave it more thought and am excited for the role? Bummed i gave off a disinterested vibe

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
