I recently joined a new organization where my college friend happens to work. However, he joined a year ago. The initial one month was fine. But all of a sudden my friend started interacting less and even started avoiding me. He is friends with another guy in our office who has manipulated him since joining. My friend wants to break the friendship. He influenced others too and now a group makes fun of me. I find it hard to work and mentally stressed. How should I survive, as I love my job?

My wife is incredibly stressed out and unhappy in her career. It’s been affecting our marriage significantly. I just had a conversation with her where I asked her to stay home and I said I’ll fully support her. It seems like she took it well.

What do you all do to make non-professional / personal connections? Particularly with the Coronavirus, and being in domestic relations, I wake up, go to work, work out, go home. So outside of law, my interactions with people are only at the gym given that my area is draining— particularly at the moment. What does drug testing look like after you get an offer?

Its hard to be positive nowadays in any work. When I joined IT industry i thought in IT we will not have politics and shit but its there. Ppl dont want to work together. They just want to keep their power. They achieve something and they wanna keep it anyhow. Its really sad. You wanna work with your open heart but ppl above you wont let it because in the end their position will be in danger. Why would be in danger? You know stuff, you have knowledge, you can grow more and more. Right??

I got a job offer from a new company so I signed the offer letter and received the company laptop and they have created login credentials for me but my date of joining was after 15 days. Then I have submitted the resignation on current company. Now my current company found that I have accepted the offer for new company and got their laptop. Now they are asking me to pay 1.5 lakhs for giving the experience letter saying dual employment and breach of trust.

How can I handle this situation
