I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? If yes what would be a subtle way to do so?

I've been job hunting for a while now, and have yet to secure anything. I've made it through to the writing test a few times but haven't succeeded. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?
