I saw a posting on the meta career site for a data solutions analyst. Is this a role similar to a data analyst or solution architect. The job description fits both data science, data engineer or solution architect. And what is the total comp for this position? I can't seem to find this role online or on sites like Glassdoor or levels. It's a remote position.

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium. All the 11 years I am with automation only. 1. Does FB sponsor visas? i'm on the E3, which is much easier to get than the H1B. No lottery involved.
