I started full time with Deloitte on OPT in Sep 2020, got my h1b, and I’m having my 1st h1b stamping interview in a couple weeks in my home country. On form DS160 that I submitted awhile ago, in the previous employment section, I forgot to list a 2-month internship I did right before I started with D&T. I did this internship legally on OPT but just completely forgot about it when I was filling my DS160 out. I can’t modify the DS 160 anymore. Will this be a problem during my stamping interview?

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?
