I recently passed the CFE and was looking into the CAMS next. Any suggestions on how to best prepare for the CAMS? I’ve been mostly reviewing the index cards that come with the prep material.

Studying also. Heard the exam is different from the material. Also, the study material has some errors, including the practice exam. I already messaged them 3 times and they confirmed that I was right. Just gonna go for it. Hearing it’s mostly chapter 2 and 4. Dm me if you want to discuss.

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

Question for the group. I am an experienced individual currently searching to get out of private and into public. I am a CFE and Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) with an MBA and am scheduled to take AUD of CPA on May 13th. Am I barking up the wrong career tree to try to exchange an extensive and diverse career into what appears to be specialization within public? I really enjoy project work as the monthly grind has worn very, very thin. Opinions?

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. Additionally, I am currently a JAG attorney and studying for my CAMS, hoping to take that exam in the next month or two. Any advice or referrals for anyone I can talk to learn more about the field? Thanks! :)

Three year old and two year old share a room. This past week every night when we put them to bed the two year old cries and cries until we feed her. I’ve been trying to do cry it out but they work themselves up into a frenzy and fuel each other further. I don’t know what to do at this point and I am losing my mind. Do I move them into separate rooms and do individual cry it out? Do I leave them no matter what? (They start gagging they get into such a frenzy)

Is it just me or at EY Forensics everyone just blame any mistake on those below them. I sent something to a client with a mistake which my supervisor didn’t notice as well. When the client came back the supervisor just fully blamed me for it like they didn’t review the work themselves. I completely agree with taking responsibility for my mistakes but mistakes happen and there is no need to finger point like it’s not a team effort.
