I recently passed the CFE and was looking into the CAMS next. Any suggestions on how to best prepare for the CAMS? I’ve been mostly reviewing the index cards that come with the prep material.

I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Anyone have a CFE designation and taken the test recently? Debating about getting it wasn’t sure if it’s worth it.

Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? Just a generic timeline and additional required info. Don’t want to sign up yet if the exam dates are not flexible. Thank you.

So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? I truly love my wife and we always thought our relationship with her parents would change after marriage and now 4 years later with a kid on the way, it hasn’t. They feel the need to make passive/aggressive comments that they basically think I’m a slave driver for insisting that she has her own career and keep working.
