I started my journey as a volunteer for crisis text line. I fell in love with the field instantly. Currently working as a mental health tech and can not freaking wait to leave that role. It freaking sucks not being able to guide patients like my background and formal training have taught me. One thing we haven’t spoken about are your salary expectations. Could you have a think and let me know early next week as well as your employment status (residency permit)."

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
