I started my journey as a volunteer for crisis text line. I fell in love with the field instantly. Currently working as a mental health tech and can not freaking wait to leave that role. It freaking sucks not being able to guide patients like my background and formal training have taught me. It’s frustrating because I constantly have to step back and ask myself “am I in my own lane”?

Would would a senior product manager do over and beyond a product manager. We don’t have any seniors at my startup and I’m trying to figure out what I need to do/achieve to get promoted. Any advice would be much appreciated.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I’m not bad with money but definitely lots of room to improve overall, due to several personal factors I don’t want to list in full here (numerous unanticipated medical bills, bad boyfriends, etc.) Hence why I only have $3k in savings right now.
