ZS Associates I think zs needs a drastic change in its leadership style. Most of the Zs leadership is homegrown zs'ers who joined straight out of college and have never been exposed to outside world. They just know to relentless and tirelessly work. But they need to understand and evolve with the upcoming generations and needs.

Agreed with this. I left because of the way my manager was treating me. They’re a homegrown and have no grasp of the ground reality. Also since most of these Ms are homegrown, they don’t actually learn the skills that are required to deal with people. It’s good that they’ve been able to get to the point that they are in without investing into learning the art of managing people and teams, but they’re doing a really bad job at it tbh. This is why it’s highly recommended to have an MBA before becoming a manager. The kind of exposure an MBA gives you makes you a better manager
Zs has grown as an organisation and needs to change few things accordingly. For ex. Retain good employees. All big companies match or offer hikes to top talent who want to leave for better pay outside. Why zs doesn't?? I think it might be time to change this.
Earlier people stayed for onshore opportunities in zs because there was a steady flow of people that moved. Now those opportunities don't exist as zs stopped sending people since last 4 years. There have been negligible transfers onshore. Zs needs to provide an alternative opportunity to its people that appeals to them.

My only need is money and company is meeting that. I’ll anytime take more money and bad culture over vice versa. Last time I checked, money, and not culture, pays my bills.

This is how consulting is everywhere. Have you ever worked in big 4/ MBB/ other consulting firms? It's just that ZS used to offer a lot of benefits and a good living (for e.g., sponsoring higher education). Due to recent financial situation, ZS has cut down a lot of these things.
I agree with M1, it's basically a bunch of undergraduates (don't want to call them kids who have not grown up) who have never seen the outside world feel like this is their playground and do what they please.
