I have my mba from couple years back and it wasn’t worth it to me. MBA is a general degree that exposes you to other career paths since you classes in business strategy, marketing, consulting, operations management, etc. But it’s not enough to break into an area you don’t have prior experience in, it’s possible of course through an MBA internship in the field you want to get your foot in the door but can be difficult for someone to hire you without work experience. Unless you’re using the tuition reimbursement, it’s not worth paying out of pocket for an MBA. Your best bet is to do a boot camp, LinkedIn learning, YouTube as a cheaper option.
Also best way to make a switch is internally. I’m sure there’s an open req role and you can just learn on the fly
I agree with the person above, If you are going to go down an MBA path, only go to a top one. I went to a non-top 10 bschool…probably why it wasn’t great, mostly due to my cohort, not the program entirely

You definitely don’t need an mba for the BEC roles. They just need barely a bachelors
Can you provide any insight into your current CIB execution services role? I have been thinking about applying to similar roles at WF. Why do you want to switch so soon?
I think it's not really that helpful. Right now, your experience is more important than an MBA. You might still find it difficult to transition even if you have an MBA.
