Mike Myers’ make up 😳
Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

Everything depends on the company you apply for and the values you have to bring to the table nothing else, interviewers have already studied your values and skills etc. Not every company works the same.
Good Luck!
What has been your experience?
I’ve had this experience myself in asking for 10,000 more dollars and the VP didn’t blink. But of course I was not chosen.
Maybe, maybe not. I will never know and most times candidates don’t know.
THIS!! After my very first job, I realized a lot of other people simply asked "is this negotiable?" and were able to get ahead.
You can ask up front - but you run the risk of being classified as only in it for the money. If you're highly experienced and the role is critical - this may give you some negotiating power.
I follow the method you used, have them settle on you as the person for the job - then politely ask to send the offer for review, come back and negotiate at that point. They often don't blink, and if they do - it's not a great sign.
ALWAYS negotiate, and always ask for a raise - the worst someone can say is no.
Yea it’s a hard balance but they must know we all work for…. Money
I like that a lot

Interesting approach, I like that!
Good. We should all stop settling. Look up salary information on Ai-back sites. With all the information candidates have available to them, there is no reason not to negotiate
