CSR is the best travel rewards card she could have for travel and restaurants. If she’s looking for shopping, get the Freedom Unlimited from Chase. She’ll earn 1.5% points on everything else, and then can transfer those to her CSR for net benefit of 2.25%
AmEx Gold is another option, but she’s better off sticking to one rewards program if she can. AmEx Plat is probably not worth annual fee if she isn’t traveling every week for work tbh
I just applied for the Barclay arrival plus for the sign on bonus. Good if she already has a csr and is just looking to flip some quick points.
Amex gold. 50k bonus points after 2k spend in 3 months, 20% back (up to $100) on dining for first 3 months, $10/Mo back on shake shack/grub hub/seamless, and $100 in airline incidentals (can buy gift cards) all for the $250 fee. So 100% worth it for the first year. And might be worth it after since it give 4% back on dining and groceries
Amex gold for sure, the 4x supermarket / dining (US only) make it a nice addition to the CSR
Not a travel reward card, but look into the Barclays Uber card. It has some good rewards for the type of spending she does. Otherwise the Amex gold.
Uber Card. Amazing benefits, no annual fee.
For cash back, Uber credit card is really good. Offers 4% on restaurants and pubs.
OP: should also add that she’s looking for a travel rewards card
Amex gold is worth it if she does a decent amount of grocery shopping. It’s nice to have more flexibility for flight awards.
Amex Plat has awesome purchase protection stuff - probably similar to Amex Gold tho
Yes. I push all of my rewards into Uber credits and now I basically don’t pay for personal Ubers
