Just apply to everything
I would just encourage you to apply to whatever you can find. I'm not being picky these days. Even if I have to relocate, I just need something that pays a decent amount.
Reach out to a career coach, honestly. The job market isn't what it is, and different approaches are needed. I have referrals if needed.
What year are you OP
It's very unlikely you're going to be picked up by in house. Fedgov is taking a dump right now, not sure about state. If you're lit, I'd gun for clerkships. Otherwise, keep hitting law firms including amlaw 200 and small firms. The goal at this point is to avoid a resume gap.
Which market are you located in? And what practice area?
I would greatly appreciate that!
