I am in the same situation. It is very easy to start panicking - and having all those "what if" thoughts. . Less than 7% of jobs are found on job boards. Networking is how you are going to find a new job. Good Luck!
What does over qualified mean? I see this a lot.
A lot of payers will hire remote PA/UM workers. Check out all the BCBS across the country. File for unemployment… even if the company threatened to contest it let them. Most companies won’t do the paperwork and can’t be bothered.
You can also look into adjacent roles. Like informed consent writer or medical writer, there's open roles at icon, that's remote. Post link for you. https://careers.iconplc.com/job/informed-consent-writer-in-us-blue-bell-icon-jid-49953
If you're open to travel for work, you can look into clinical research Associate roles, medpace ( in Cincinnati, Ohio) will train you for entry level roles as long as you have a 4 yrs degree. Research Coordinators/associate is nice because you can do it site (hospital) level or work at CROs like icon, iqvia or big pharma like Merk. If you're married to care coordination, then you can always look at insurance companies, rehabs, or retailers like CVS. Good luck.
I totally understand your frustration. I was off for two years due to a work related injury. I have applied to many jobs as well and have received nothing but rejection letters. I am in the medical field and in the past we have always had lots of jobs. I do not completely understand why this is happening!
I agree I was let go too and I can't find one either depressing
I’ve applied to over 100 jobs since being laid off. No response 😩

I’m sorry you’re going through this! Just keep your head up, and don’t stop looking! You’ll find something soon, good luck!
Thank you 😊
