I was told I was hired, and my official offer letter would be emailed to me. That was over two weeks ago, and no one at the company is responding to my voicemails. This is ghosting, right?

Oh yes. I would say this is a textbook example of ghosting in my opinion. Sorry, but I suggest you keep up your job hunt.

Could be ghosting, bureaucratic delays, or budgetary holds. Call the hiring manager or others you interviewed with.

like

I always thought ghosting was after the interviews but before an offer. Triple check your spam folder for that offer letter for sure and yes, contact them via phone, text or email. I mean, they offered you the position. If its not remote then show up on the doorstep to talk to someone

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?
