Alright alright alright

Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

My trouble is when my blacks don’t match
I wear head to all black almost every day because it’s chic and easy, but try to mix textures in my clothes. I also always wear fun shoes with animal prints or bright colors. I’m kind of famous for my orange shoes at the office lol
I really like black clothes, but I always try to add a bit of color like a top or a scarf
Yes! Black is like a wardrobe staple for me. It’s easy to wear, always looks good, and makes me feel confident. I don’t think it’s about anything negative either; sometimes, it’s just about practicality and style.
I look damn good in black, that’s the reason
My wardrobe was mostly black and got called out on it multiple times, so I started buying more non-black clothes. I get more compliments when I go out and wear non-black clothes… but black is just so easy to wear without any thought.
I wear SO much black. I love it, and I don't think there is a psychological reason behind everything. You can actually just like things because you like them. I'm literally going to be wearing black shoes, a black belt, a black top, any black jacket with berry colored pants tomorrow. I have a scarf in case I need it, and it's a lovely mid gray. I love gray and silver and many shades of blue also.
I wish black looked better on me. It’s so fashionable - a True Autumn girlie here 🍁🍂
I love wearing black because if feels safe and easy. But every time I see someone else wearing all black, I always imagine how much better the outfit would look with color. So I’m trying my best to incorporate more color, even if it’s not as safe and takes a little more time.
I have been wearing a ton of black since I was 12 years old. People in my very preppy high school did not understand why I wore black all the time. When I got my first job and an advertising agency, my boyfriend at the time looked at all the people wearing black and said “you’ll fit right in here“
When I travel I typically pack mostly black clothes. That way I don’t need to plan outfits because everything goes together.
I used to wear a ton of black and thought I looked great in it. Then I had a seasonal color analysis done and realized it’s not a great color for me. If you don’t know your season, I recommend finding out.

I used to wear more black until my husband asserted it just had to be my favorite color since I wore so much of it (it's not).
Black is the coolest. Easy to match and great with white, gray, and tan. All you need, really.
