I’m mid 50s and just starting to see the time between cycles extend to 40-60 days apart. My mother and grandmother stopped menstruating in their late 50s and I seem to be following the pattern
Started at 47
Mine are getting farther and farther apart too- and I have found I am tired a lot and low energy- and never in the mood for romance. Sad, but true. I like to be more in the mood but just feel yucky in all the wrong places. My husband states I am crabby a lot! Lolol
11 years now…
5 years I think. Still have periods but some are head heavy and last for days, then the following month, its a lighter bleed! Perimenopause sucks!
I've noticed a change in my skin of late, on my face. It seems looser.
Be warned .....I had a seizure in March last year and after loads of tests I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. If it wasn't for the seizure I don't know where I would be today as I was putting all the aymptoms down to being menopausal! Tumour was removed successfully in July last year and so far the symptoms are slowly returning!!! At least I know I'm tumour free
