Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Stories have a beginning a middle and an end. Make sure you address all three. And if you had any learnings. And not every story ends in champagne and puppy dogs. Be ready to talk about a failure and what you learned from the situation. Always use I. Never use We whenever possible. We did this but my portion was this and I delivers this by doing that and the outcome was this other thing. You got this. Good luck
This is helpful, especially the I/We bit. Will have to go back to my notes and make revisions, I’m sure I have opportunity to improve on that alone.
Thank you!

Provide context for your impact metrics. Make sure they’re clear of the significance of your impact. I.e this resulted in $XX incremental revenue which represented an X% growth in the value of the account. Amazon absolute numbers tend to be much bigger than most other companies so putting your impact into context is really important.
Ah this is good to know. Most of my prep does have context around numbers, but there are some examples of account growth I didn’t include total % of growth, just the $ increase. Thank you! I’ll make some adjustments based on this advice.
How did the phone interview go?
Had to get rescheduled, unfortunately. Interviewer was in an accident or something so should happen next week after the holiday or early the following week. Hoping it was just meant to be & taking advantage of additional prep time!
