I went to a networking mixer last night and realized I’ve forgotten how to talk to people about anything other than the Fed or EBITDA. I’m like a parody of a finance bro trying to sound human while secretly checking my watch. The whole process just feels so transactional and fake. Does anyone have tips for making genuine connections that don't feel like a sales pitch?
