If I want to start a family office, what kind of experience would be helpful? Looking at whether I should get a 1-2 years of experience in HF, PE or VC. I have 4 years of consulting experience, did a mix of CDD, ODD, strategy and PMO work. Family is worth about 300 mil and is looking to put about 50 mil into the fund to start. We are in Southeast Asia if that matters. I have little knowledge of investing, so L any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.

In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.

I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.

Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

My dislike for realtors has never been stronger. While purchasing a property a few months ago we found somewhere that had dropped their price so I wanted to go in a little under or at ask. It’s not that he wouldn’t allow it but wanted us to go in at the original list price and I later found out he knew the listing agent. The industry as a whole needs a shake up in my opinion.

Please help me select my insurance plan. I am married (going to be 24% tax bracket) with a baby so I can choose between low, medium or high deductible medical plans. My wife is anticipating having significant medical expenses for the remainder of the plan year over the max out of pocket (oop).

Taking into account employer HSA contributions, tax savings and the max OOP amounts, is it less expensive to go with the high deductible (calc attached)? Sounds counterintuitive, but maybe I'm incorrect.
