The stress has lead to an eating disorder that I can’t get control of. I’ve lost 25 pounds since starting at the firm two and a half years ago. I am 20 pounds less than I was in high school... Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

I'm interviewing with KKR for a Principal role in their real estate group. All online salary resources are all in alignment with a total comp of $200k+. I'm assuming based on the average salary reported across these portals for principal that those figures apply to the RE group as well. Anyone have any direct knowledge or can speak to that group's comp?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research.
