I work for a surgeon and she keeps making me submit diagnosis for patients that she verbally says, she had made me cry for rude comments towards me and other, she also likes to contradict her words and put words in my mouth or change her commands when’s something goes wrong. She also likes to blame or says racial comments when something doesn’t go her way and I am lowkey tired of this behavior and idk if this is just normal surgeons behavior or a toxic work environment

I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. I tried working as a tech at an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic but it wasn’t a good fit. I’m hesitant to try case management or social work because I worry I won’t like it but I want to use my degree in Psychology. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
