I worked 14 hours yesterday to deliver a report because they “needed it by today so that they could review and discuss with me before the weekend”. Radio silence today after I delivered on time. Definitely was not worth the extra hours, and it’s making me think maybe this team isn’t the right fit. What moment had you beginning your job search? Was it one thing or many things built up?

Welcome to the corporate world! Everything must be finished right away and your time doesn't matter. Seriously, that kind of thing isn't uncommon. If it's part of a pattern of awful behavior, you might want to get serious about finding a better position. But that by itself is not all that unusual.

Whenever I talk about work with my sibling who works in a trade, they laugh at all the corporate silliness that I have to deal with. Unfortunately this behavior happens regularly.

I’ve been looking once I got a new manager after the recent reorganization. He’s new to the company, has no clue on how things work here and no clue on what his team actually does and how long things actually take. He’ll dole out all of these new “opportunities” which adds up to even more work. He wanted a half baked handful of bullets to use for performance calibrations, weeks before our self assessments were due. I need to find something soon, because if I don’t I’m sure to get PIP’d despite the dozens of colleagues that gave me great feedback. I’m too old for this nonsense! Probably another strike I have against me to actually have lots of experience and actually know what I’m doing!
