If you have a name brand MBA and 10+ years consulting experience, 200K+ TC is doable. Without it you might be pushing it at the Manager level. That comp range is more aligned with Sr. Manager exit。 If you have a competing offer or have an in-demand skill set, you can leverage it to obtain a higher offer. In this market, I am seeing 150-160K base with 10-20% bonus for experienced Consulting Manager. It also aligns to the Director level comp in most industries in a corp setting. This is an employer market with many displaced talents so make sure you set right expectation on comp.
Lol dude I worked at Accenture Strategy. They have pay bands. Manager is 175k. Not at regular Accenture but Accenture Strategy. Ask your friends that are there
I don’t know anyone who considers Accenture better than big four, people usually few them about the same

Kpmg2 so below Strat range

Depending on what company you’re targeting they may not have 200k for a manager. I know some Fortune 500’s don’t even pay 200k to Directors
Pro
They are playing you, you don’t want to work there, as a former big 4 partner and a former senior exec in industry the big 4 thing is over rated and not valued as much as people think.
Pro
Why would you? That sounds high for a manager

ACN and B4 are the big dogs in terms of headcount and revenue; for your generic industry person, they are effectively interchangeable counterparts.
Oh man. Gonna be hard to get the money I want I see.
I should have specified and said “Accenture Strategy”
I think it’s like saying you are in the honors college at a public university. Means a lot in the organization itself, not a lot to outsiders
Accenture was Andersen Consulting - part of the Big 5 - that split off in a dispute prior to Arthur Andersen collapsing.
Yea but that was years ago. People don’t know how much Accenture Strategy is paying and want to come low ball me. I’m scared I’m not going to get to my 200k goal
Oh wow... that’s crazy. I need to figure out how to get that and what companies do.
