Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

If you have 5-6 of them, apply. If you don’t, a less qualified man will end up in the role because they’ll think he’s the most qualified person for the role l.
Let the company reject you, don’t make the decision for them. If you don’t apply, you’re taking yourself out of the game before it even starts.
@Analyst 1 - I do that all the time. Haha
I read somewhere that women think we need to have all of them to apply while men apply even if they have none. I say go for it! What are they going to say, no? On to the next.
I believe the stat is men apply at 60% of the requirements!
Could be even 1 - if the main thing they are looking for is something I’m really good at, maybe that’s enough.
If you have all (or perhaps even most) of the competencies listed you should be looking for a higher level, in my opinion.
Is this a job you really want and you’ll find fulfilling?
Apply and don’t get hung up on how many competencies you have out of the listed ones.
What others above said about women selecting themselves out if they have fewer competencies than listed, is true.
What’s also important to remember: oftentimes people who write these job descriptions add “nice-to-haves” without necessarily marking them as such. Or they hastily copy/paste or re-work an older job description, etc. Or they think that a job applicant needs X, but they actually don’t to succeed in this job.
So again, do not select yourself out if you don’t check off all the boxes. Good luck! ❤️
I always apply for what I want when I know I have the experience.

I get that the responses are trying to be encouraging and one never knows, but let’s be realistic….if you were hiring and got 200 applications will you really give this unknown person that only has 2-3 match a chance. More often than not the application is discarded and the hiring manager keeps the role open longer.
Agree this can be the case, especially if they’re working with a TA team who is eliminating people who don’t “qualify.” However, I’ve seen plenty of times where the HM will go through resumes and one stands out even though it doesn’t meet all quals.

Don’t sell yourself short. You may have as many conferences that are listed. Think about your skills and your qualifications.
