Right now we’re all getting AI shoved down our throats and productivity is just not going up. Add to this the errors and hallucinations that are still very prevalent. Look up “LLMs Corrupt Your Documents.” All this is actually costing time and money but the stats are being buried because of all the investment and because it gives CEOs an excuse for layoffs to inflate profits
AI is fine for helping initial stages and for creating iterations etc but for any actual crafting or long term development it still needs a lot of handholding that not even juniors do
The companies that admit this early will have a pick of top laid off talent to rehire. The ones that don’t will just hemorrhage into the same conclusion that AI can’t fully replace employees but only be used/supervised by them
All imho and until they create real AI 🫠

It’s a tool not a replacement. At least, not for a long while and even then, we’ll adapt.
The politicians.
The creative use of AI will still include people to be sure it does the desired job. AI used intentionally *can* be inspirational. I know, hot take, but it's not all bad. Otherwise, I think service based business will always do best with real people on the front lines. Notice how most the storefronts are salons, quickserve, pet or medical based. And possibly using AI to be more efficient. I feel like if we approach it and try to see how we can use it to enhance what we do, we ourselves become more valuable. Sorry I know this isn't what you want to hear.
