If anyone wants a fairly cheap position that has the potential for a lot of money see below. I’ve been following slack for quite some time now and I’m confident they will crush their earnings.

In the time the market has fallen 15% slack has only gone down 3%. With the virus, companies are looking for ways to stay connected while not in the office directly supporting slack’s business model. Finally, they have added some new customers and I think slack is poised to grow like crazy in the coming months!

I like it. Stock market recovery + great earnings = $$$$$$$$$

I m in on it as well OP 🤞🏼

Well see tomorrow but I may sell some of my calls tomorrow to cover initial investment. Then Pick up more calls early next week with house $. But def going to hold calls through earnings.

like

Take profit! It’s always guaranteed and I could be completely wrong. I took my initial investment already and so anything I make on top is pure profit.

like

I’m still holding. I sold about half to cover my initial investment and I’m letting the rest ride out.

like

Wow 52% to break even

Yeah but I’m gonna sell after earnings. These usually go up 3-400% if they do really well and if not you’re only using your initial investment

like

Hmmm why not buy right before earnings?

Thanks guys

a $40 call??? why did you go that high was it the cheapest option do you think it’s going to rise that much?

Doesn’t need to hit strike price to make a nice profit if it does fantastic.

For 4/17 expiration date, I’m getting $39 call option for $.35 whereas $40 call option is at $0.58 🤔

The option jumped last minute. I have no clue why. But it was trading for .25 earlier. I got another 10 contracts

I’m liking the 3/20 $34 Call for .35

Yeah gonna feel bad if they don’t since it appears a few people followed but if it’s any reconciliation I have around 1.2k riding on it so

Awesome job OP! Got out this morning before the drop at a nice little profit. Think this goes back up? I’m wanting to dip my toes some more 😂

Just bought some more at .95 for 4/17 @35

We still holding gang?

Might as well, I just don’t think it’s gonna go as planned since the market is so bearish

Picked up $25 & $27 calls for Friday

Shouldn’t these contracts be gold Friday morning?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Got an offer for Sr. Financial Analyst for 85k & 10% annual bonus. What's a good counteroffer? I told the recruiter 95k-110k when I first interviewed. This position is 100% remote, headquartered in VA. I live in NYC. Have roughly 2 YOE.

Thanks.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

I have not yet accepted the offer.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
