At the beginning of quarantine, I was really depressed. I was drinking too much alcohol, eating too much junk food, and generally not in a good place. I joined @MINDTREE in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?
