Yamazaki 55.
But I’d much rather blow that money on a ton of WFE purple and green tops. Finish out my pappy vertical. Get the BTAC vertical. Finish up my weller set. Get some OFCs. Get a few Parker’s heritage
I buy whiskey to drink. Once it goes over $100 a bottle I start questioning my choices.
Should just drink whatever you like when you like. If I want to have a pour of my Pappy 15 on a random Thursday while watching Thursday Night Football, I will. Don’t let the whiskey drink you, you drink the whiskey.
Hibiki 30 for me. But, if I had all that money to spend, I'd include a trip to Scotland or Japan to enjoy many rare whiskies!
$160K buys quite a few first class tickets + hotels + limos to the distilleries

Honestly I extremely fortunate to have a boss and clients introduce me to Japanese whiskies, aside from the windfall from their popularity, collecting Japanese whiskies gave me a way to connect with my colleagues and clients. Definitely helped me in my career (knowing your wines also helps too).
