Title without a raise is a scam. Take the money. You can negotiate the title later.
Higher pay obvi
There are a ton of producers out of work right now. Take the money.
It's strange that a promotion wouldn't come with a raise. I'd pretty much always go for the higher salary, because a title isn't going to pay the bills.
Always go for the money. That's literally the whole purpose of working.
It would really depend on my current situation. If I wasn't desperate for more cash, and the title would come with a chance for even better $ down the line, I'd take the stepping stone. If I had a savings goal or was struggling, probably the raise.
I would decide based on what I would actually be doing in either position. I'm making enough either way.
More responsibility or more money? More money. If you want the promotion I’d think you can still work toward that and find an opportunity where that would ALSO come with a pay increase. 12k can make a big difference.
Follow your passion. You’ll be happier than money can give. Titles don’t mean much.
Is one of those with a different employer? I’m confused why you would get both of those offers from your current employer.
I don’t care about the title. I see too many people padding their ego with a bigger title, except when it really comes down to it their experience and knowledge isn’t even there. I saw a manager watching YouTube 30 minutes before a meeting to gather information on the topic he was supposed to have knowledge about.
