I'm glad to see some people here agree with me on Annie Leibovitz. She just has the ability to make people look breathtaking through her portraiture even with the least amout of embellishments. They're all so stunning.
The way she captures mood without distracting from the subject is amazing.
Annie Leibowitz for the win! She has been such an inspiration for me, and her work actually encouraged me to become a photographer myself.
I can't say I am familiar with her work. I am going to have to look her up for sure.
Mario Testino. His work with different pop stars and in magazine shoots I think is amazing.
Rchard Avedon. His photo of Natassja Kinski with the python is in my home. I grew up seeing it and I was like "omg I want tot ake photos like that when I grow up". Didn't become a photographer but I still like his work.
My favorite photographer is Ansel Adams. I love his black and white landscapes, and the way he captures the natural beauty of the world.
I am not sure who my favorite photographer is, but I really enjoy the work of Annie Leibovitz and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
Jimmy Nelson. I love seeing tribes through his lenses. He captures photos of tribal people doing what they normally do. He worked on aseries called "Before They Pass Away".
Ezra Stoller. He really showed architecture as being an art form rather than just a function. Going through his work is a great reminder of the beauty that's around us.
I love Adam Elmakias! His concert photography is to die for, and he covers my favorite bands. check him out if you can!
Sophie Calle has been the eyes behind some of my favorite photographs. I just think her work is some of the most intimate and vulnerable I've ever seen.
Mine is not that popular yet. How about you, OP?
