If you work brand side as a creative, what positions can you transition into to make more money than the ACD to CD route and how does one do that (or is it possible)? Calling all managers with junior, intern and mid teams: Who is taking (or is being given) the time to train their juniors on the necessary hard and soft skills? If not, what’s stopping you from providing that support?

Has anyone ever worked at an agency in which the project management department was properly utilized? I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
