I need opinions on this. I just got a job offer from Tata consulting services which is offering me way more money (80k) than what I was originally getting at Infosys (62k). However, is working at Tata any better that working at Infosys?

Hi, I'm looking for a mentor so I can pivot from e&i to software and devops. I love figuring out how things work. To me it is all a big mysterious puzzle to figure out and make work. I love seeing the pieces click together and suddenly begin doing something productive.
I'm currently learning python for self directed tasks and am working on skills related to OOP and software design patterns as well as studying to renew my CCNP Collaboration and working towards a CCNA DevNet.
Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.
Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.

Hey guys! Went to college with full intention of getting into medical school. Graduated right before the pandemic which gave time to think long and hard about going to med school. Decided I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, and am trying to pivot into consulting.
