Hello All, I’m a project manager but seeking to pivot into UX Research. I do have some experience but don’t have a portfolio yet. Can anyone advise if I should focus on going through a bootcamp or focus on getting a Masters in HCI? Or just building a portfolio with the experience I do have? There are very few entry-level roles and many places are only hiring “Sr UXR” with 3-5+ years of experience! Any tips on how to break into this field and/or stand out as a junior applicant?? Thanks!

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:
1. Culture/WLB - how is it?
2. Realistic market opportunity/opportunity to crush quota (obv dependent on many things)

I've decided to leave public for an Accounting Manager position in private. What are the different types of companies to consider and the pros/cons? What are the best ways to get the position? Consultant for nearly 7 years (combination of Strategy, Ops and Tech mostly within FS) looking to pivot to a startup in a different industry

Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.

Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.
