Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Love it! I would also add: make your MVP, lovable. E.g. kick-ass at whatever you do and stand out.
Referrals definitely help, but don’t close the offer. Closing a job offer is more about marketing and selling relevant experiences than networking 24/7. Having great metrics to back-up your experiences makes your pitch a lot more sound. Almost analogous to a Shark Tank pitch can’t close an offer without the financial due diligence.
Just thought I would add this thought because candidates in this community to be *obsessed* over referrals and are less willing to build their careers.
Such great additions!! If your open to it, would love if you share your thoughts on the post on LI and see if we can get some engagement there. And i think the topic of networking and referrals warrants a post on its own - my creative juices are going :).
Thanks!
