I'll be completing 5 years in july. but if I resign now and buyout notice period , will I get gratuity? Or can I ask my new employer to compensate that gratuity if they are buying out notice period. I'm confused. Please suggest.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers?
