My bad, here it is https://www.forbes.com/sites/adamminsky/2024/10/08/critical-application-to-pursue-student-loan-forgiveness-is-back-up---key-details/

I really think at this point we just need to accept that this fight is lost and pay the loans. This whole “we are forgiving x student loans” “wait never mind so and so says we can’t” on repeat is getting old. I would love to see them gone but I honestly think they are here to stay, and we need to work not on forgiving the existing loans, but making the system better for future borrowers. Such as capping interest rates. Let them be variable that’s fine, but they should not exceed x% and make that percentage something that is easy to swallow but also covers the cost of the loan. We would not accept a mortgage rate of 8% why should we accept a student loan rate of 10%? I think they should be higher than a mortgage rate as that is a secured loan whereas a student loan is unsecured but they should not exceed 10% or whatever number makes sense.

I am regretting not paying them when they were I deferment during COVID.

You're right, it only makes sense to believe that it's gone and pay debts off like we always had to.

I feel like we just keep talking about it and nothing is really happening. So in my mind I really don't think it is ever going to happen. It feels like there is too much opposition to the idea of forgiving student loans. I know I could really use mine forgiven

I've been avoiding breaking up with someone (I've been dating off and on for a year) for the past few weeks because I can't decide the best way to do it. We're not compatible long-term. He's not seeing anyone else and I've told him I'm seeing other people but he's starting to have relationship expectations for me since we reconnected a few months ago. Any tips for having the conversation? I'd prefer to do it via text but I know people say it's not appropriate and it should be over the phone.

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. What does this mean? This is for a marketing specialist role. I’m asking for $70K bottom line

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Additional Posts in Student Loans

SOFI or who else?

Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???
