I'm concerned that our community is becoming too focused on self-promotion and marketing. How can I shift the focus back to meaningful discussions/connections?

Maybe do some engaging activities like polls and games. Throw in a conversational topic that is likely to generate mixed opinions. Nothing too controversial though!

Maybe you (or one of the mods) should re-establish the purpose of the community by writing a post about how what the mission is. People are always self-promoting online so it's easy to understand why people would default to that in a community

I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. I got an offers from two companies in flat steel products for Pune location.
One company is startup company categories under dealer based on e-commerce
And one one big brand company but they have started new divisions for e-commerce flat form

Which one should i choose? ( work life balance/ stability/sustainability/growth)

Pay scale for both nearby but brand company is paying less than expected.

Need to know one thing urgently. Have attended lateral TCS interview and cleared TR and MR..But got to know in the MR round that my preferred base location they cant provide..So went ahead with it. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any location can be provided...
