Two questions:
1- What's important to you? Small law firms are rarely able to provide competitive comp and benefits. If, though, you have kids or other family members you're responsible for, and being relatively close to where you work is a priority, then that's the trade off for benefits and pay.
2- Are you ready to be challenged? Working at a larger firm will definitely challenge you and you'll have to push yourself more. If you're ready, then dig in, show up and take advantage of mentoring opportunities. But you'll never know until you try.
You answered your own question. You are currently at a place with low pay and no benefits so what “growth opportunities” is that firm going to present exactly?
