I’m currently planning my next career move by the end of next year and I would love to seek views of others ahead of me in their careers. Currently in Big4 accounting advisory. Next Career path I’m considering is the route to CFO which I believe would start from Finance Controller position.

For people who has walked this path, how did you go about it? Did you get to have an executive Head hunter who guided you through this path or was it via visibility on LinkedIn or any other thing you did?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.

Hey! I'm just about to start doing some freelance work for a NYC based boutique design studio, and I need to give a hiring manager my hourly rate to give his customers. I am new to UI/UX design. I'm looking at applying to MBB (Preferably BCG) for a summer internship this summer. I'm a first-gen Oxbridge student, and while I have little experience in consulting along the lines of MBB, I did work in the city last summer as an sustainability consultant.
