I’m deep into studying for my Six Sigma Black Belt, and it’s forcing me to look at my own workflows. I am currently failing my own DMAIC cycle. I spend all my time in "Define" and "Measure," gathering data and brainstorming ideas, but I completely stall out before the "Improve" phase. Execution is where the actual value is created. Where in your daily work do you get stuck in the planning loop?

Important to remember that what you study for and the tests are very different from what the real world work needs. If you are getting stuck somewhere, it is great to go back and see what’s happening.

Sustainment

That self-awareness is half the battle. I have done the same. Analysis feels productive because it is safe. Improvement requires commitment and exposure. What is one small test you could run this week instead of a full solution?

If you are not getting past the next phase, then it is time to ask 5 whys 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi, I was curious if anyone had any jobs or companies that had a position with a mix of consulting/healthcare/pharmaceutical. I currently work in clinical operations and research, and would love to jump or learn into a tech side company with pharmaceutical exposure. Not sure if these are out there but figured I’d see!

Hello! I am a Technical Sourcer/Recruiter at a reputable FinTech company. I would like to transition into Project Coordination/Management within the tech space. Any tips for the transition? Recruiters: I am open to entry level & contract roles to gain experience! Thanks in advance for the assist!

I am seeking new employment, I was recently laid off due to lack of work. I would very much appreciate any leads. I have a Bs in Construction Management and over 15 years experience with Revit and AutoCAD and 7 years of plumbing design. I have solid references and impeccable work ethic. I truly enjoy what I do. Working remotely the last three years has become a way of my life and supports our current situation well, therefore I am seeking a similar role but will consider other opportunities.
