For my pcos ladies on metformin, interesting news article. Be careful out there. The good news I hear is that metformin leaves the body pretty quickly so in 2 days you won't have it in you anymore. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/victoriaforster/2020/04/05/researchers-warn-that-covid-19-treatment-t

Have you seen an RE?
As someone with lean PCOS, no version of tracking worked for me whatsoever. BBT, CM, ovulation sticks…they didn’t matter bc some of us with this syndrome have no recognizable pattern which is what puts us under the label of “infertility.” If you don’t ovulate or you ovulate 1-2x a year erratically, it’s impossible to get pregnant without ovulation induction help.
So if you haven’t seen an RE, I’d evaluate your specific situation and explore alternatives to simple ovulation tracking. As an example, I have always done clomid or letrozole + trigger injection + IUI to get pregnant. It’s personally been quite successful for me (not without many hiccups along the way), but there is a clear path to get pregnant with PCOS; mostly, bc it’s the most common cause of infertility and well known by physicians.
I've been there before, trying to make sense of my own ovulation patterns. With lean PCOS, it can sometimes be hard to predict what's going on. I learned that hormonal fluctuations don’t always follow a typical pattern. Have you considered keeping a detailed chart of your symptoms? It helped me spot trends over time.
